A plain walkthrough for guests booking a stay and for insurance partners placing ALE / loss-of-use housing — what's on the site today, what to know, and where to go next.

I'm booking a stay
- Open a home from Homes ready to book.
- Check dates on the calendar (28+ nights), review the quote, and submit a stay request with your name, email, and phone.
- Wait for host approval — then complete payment via the Stripe link we send (first + last month / stay total + security hold).
- Read Policies for the security hold and cancellation windows.
I'm an adjuster or insurer
- Start on For Adjusters for ALE framing, invoicing, and FAQ.
- Share a property page URL with the insured, or ask us to email a quote.
- Contact us with claim number and preferred billing party — or book direct and note the claim in the booking form.
- We can discuss invoices and direct-bill arrangements for approved placements.

Before you book
What you should know
28+ night minimum
These are mid-term stays, not weekend getaways. Every unit requires at least 28 nights — shorter stays cannot be requested or paid.
Request → approve → pay
Submit a stay request from the property page. The host reviews and approves first; only then do you receive a Stripe payment link.
First + last after approval
You pay first month and last month when the stay is approved and you complete Stripe Checkout. Months in between are billed monthly in advance.
$1,000 CAD security hold
Separate from rent — charged as its own Stripe line at payment and released automatically about 7 days after checkout unless there is a damage claim. Details on Policies.
Unit details matter
Pets, parking, and layouts differ by home — for example Scarborough Main + Upper welcomes dogs but not cats. Always read the property page.
ALE / invoice-ready
Adjusters can request invoices or discuss direct-bill. Include the claim number and preferred billing party when you contact us or book.
